Joella Smith(she/her) is a Licensed Social Worker who has numerous years in the mental health/substance abuse field. She graduated from Temple University and Kutztown University with her Master's in Social Work, and a concentration in behavioral health.
Feeling alone? Did life become unmanageable? Joella specializes in trauma and will leave you with skills and tools that STICK! Her therapeutic approaches include CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy), but also use a psychoanalytic, trauma-focused, and strengths-based approach to empower you to make change! Her goal is to make YOU the best version of YOU and she can help with that. She treats individuals ages 15-100, all genders and identities, and can treat individuals with depression, anxiety, substance abuse, fertility issues, LGBTQ, and more.
Joella currently does not offer couples or family therapy.
Christi (they /them) is a Licensed Social Worker (LSW), who graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with their Master of Social Work (MSW), and a graduate certificate in Gender, Sexuality, and Women's Studies. Christi works from an integrative approach, which includes treatment modalities such as CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy), psychodynamic therapy, mindfulness, positive psychology, motivational interviewing, as well as mind-body techniques (meditation, guided imagery, body scanning, etc.). They will meet you where you are at on your personal journey, and customize your treatment based on your individual needs.Christi will collaborate with you to achieve your desired goals in treatment, as well as provide a safe and supportive environment for you to be your authentic self.
Christi works with adults ages 18 +, who are experiencing depression, suicidal ideation, grief and loss, anxiety and related disorders, issues related to gender identity and/or sexuality/sexual orientation, and a variety of other issues.
Tishaun(she/her) is a Licensed Social Worker in New York State and Pennsylvania, she obtained her Masters degree in Social Work from Silberman School of Social Work (Hunter College) with a concentration on individual and family services. She specializes in working with toddlers age 0-3, for NYC Early intervention program providing Applied behavioral Analysis (ABA). She has experience working with diverse populations in a variety of of health care setting providing mental health and case management services to individuals from the ages of 20-99 years of age.
Tishaun interests is in working with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, adjustment disorders, trauma, self harm, grief/loss. She uses a person-centered approach throughout the therapeutic process and works with the client to develop goals that are realistic to them. She utilizes various modalities based on the individual needs. These modalities are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Mindfulness, Solution Focused Therapy, and Client centered approaches.
