IMM believes in the importance of bringing awareness to predatory behavior and how it affects our youth. We hold educational and motivational seminars to create a safe space to speak with youth about sexual abuse, sex education, teen dating and predatory behavior. We are holding open discussions to allow youth to become more knowledgeable of the importance of building boundaries as it relates to sexual violation, trauma, teen dating, and safety.
Through mentoring can we break the cycle of youth victimized by sexual abuse by empowering them to be survivors. We match youth with empathetic mentors to promote healing and survival through their trauma. We believe as more people share their story of sexual abuse; our youth will find the freedom in healing.
We are volunteering to come help you clean out your closet, basement or extra rooms that holds gently used clothes and essentials that's no longer essential to you. We are collecting to donate to group homes, re-entry programs and shelters. There are people who need donations all year-round. Reserve a spot for an early Saturday or Sunday. We'll bring anything to make this process a smooth one. Help us, help people in need.
We acknowledge the importance of collaborating with other organizations that share our goals of elevating our youth. IMM loves to host or join partnership in events that make a difference in the community. Please email us to see how we can collaborate or partner to become a greater resource together.
